Our
Mission is to provide the citizens of Mohave County a safe and
economical method for disposal of municipal waste generated in
the County, in accordance with Arizona Department of
Environmental Quality and Federal Environmental Protection
Agency rules and regulations. Also to promote efforts and
solutions addressing the eradication of the pervasive
environmental, health and public safety hazards associated with
illegal "Wildcat" dumping of wastes in the desert areas of
Mohave County.
Cerbat Sanitary Landfill

The Landfill operation site is located on 160 acres described as the Southwest quarter of Section 35,
Township 23 North, Range 18 West of the Gila and Salt River Base and
Meridian, Mohave County, Arizona, lying East of U.S. Highway 93
approximately 2 1/2 miles.

Operating hours are 7:00 A.M.
to 3:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday and 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Saturdays.
Closed on Sundays and holidays.

Arizona State Hwy 95, approximately 4 1/2 miles.

*1 Certain
tires disposed by Commercial Tire Dealers and Mohave County
residents may qualify as "Program Tires" and therefore not be
subject to charges as indicated. Please check with the landfill or
the Mohave County Public Works Department for clarification.
*2 Tires received and stored
at Mohave County's Waste Tire Collection Sites "from tire dealers
whose place of business is other than Arizona or from individuals
not having proof of residency" will be charged at the rate of
$255.20 per ton.
*3 Minimum load weights may vary by type of items disposed.
