Our Mission is to
provide property owners the means to construct streets, sidewalks,
curbs, gutters, bridges, water and waste water, etc. as stated in
Arizona Revised
Statutes 48-909. To allocate the costs of local improvements to the
benefited property, in order to preserve general tax revenues and debt
capacity of the County.
The Mohave County Improvement Districts Office currently manages
approximately 21,000 assessments including Improvement Districts in the
Butler/New Kingman Addition, Mohave Valley area, Golden Valley area, Cerbat Ranches, Lake Havasu area and the
Arizona Strip area. Improvement
Districts can be formed for the purpose of
street, water, sewer, drainage and other local improvements pursuant to
Arizona Revised Statute 48-909.
