Fleet
Services provides vehicles and maintenance for the County Departments.
The Equipment
Maintenance has the responsibility to maintain the following:

278 vehicles that are assigned and billed to various departments at a per
month/per mile rate

33 motor pool cars that are available to the departments to check out for
traveling out of town

10 15 yard End Dumps

9 Belly Dumps and tractors
-
22 Caterpillar Motor graders
-
4 Bulldozers
-
7 Front End Loaders
-
5 Scrapers
-
3 Chip Spreaders
-
5 Water Trucks
-
1 Lay Down Machine

44 Pickup Trucks

Various other rollers, brooms, and minor equipment

1 vehicle at Deer Valley Airport, Phoenix
-
1 vehicle at Mesquite, Nevada airport for use when flying to
Littlefield/Beaver Dam area on the strip

2 fueling locations for County vehicles and the various road equipment
In addition to these vehicles -- Fleet Services and Equipment
Maintenance also maintains 324 vehicles for the Departments that own
their own vehicles, which are billed for labor, parts and fuel.
